Welcome to the Tricord Global website. Tricord Global,Inc. is a faith based, non-profit enterprise, founded for the socially responsible purpose of providing Microfinance to people in impoverished nations around the world. Microfinance is an innovative, and effective, approach to help alleviate poverty by helping the poor help themselves. We provide credit, financial services and education to the poor, teaching them how to become economically stable, generate income for their families, and sustain that level of know-how permanently.
According to Grameen Foundation USA, despite the demonstrated impact of Microfinance as an international poverty reduction strategy, fewer than one-in-five of the world’s poorest households have access to financial services. By making loans directly to individuals as well as to microfinance institutions, or MFIs, which are de-facto banks operating in those countries, we seek to expand the provision of financial services to poor, would-be entrepreneurs for purposes of lifting them out of poverty.
